1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise accessing CollabConnect ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Who Can Use CollabConnect
You must be at least 18 years old to use CollabConnect. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
CollabConnect is designed for three types of users:
- Influencers, bloggers, KOLs
- Any individual creating digital content
- SMEs, startups, enterprises
- Any business running campaigns
- Full-service and boutique agencies
- Managing campaigns for clients
3. Platform Description
CollabConnect is a marketplace that connects content creators with brands and ad agencies for influencer marketing campaigns. The Platform facilitates:
- Discovery and matching between creators and brands
- Campaign creation, management, and tracking
- Secure payments and escrow services for campaign deliverables
- Portfolio building and creator verification
4. User Responsibilities
All Users
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and interactions
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect intellectual property rights of others
- Not use the Platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purpose
Content Creators
- Deliver campaign content as agreed and within specified deadlines
- Disclose sponsored content in accordance with applicable advertising standards
- Own or have the right to use all content submitted through the Platform
Brands & Agencies
- Provide clear campaign briefs and reasonable requirements
- Fund campaigns before creators begin work
- Review and approve or reject deliverables within agreed timeframes
5. Payments & Escrow
CollabConnect uses an escrow system to protect both creators and brands:
- Brands fund campaigns upfront; funds are held in escrow by CollabConnect
- Funds are released to creators only when deliverables are approved
- Dispute resolution is available if parties cannot reach agreement
- Platform fees are deducted before creator payouts; fees are disclosed at time of campaign creation
CollabConnect is not a bank or financial institution. Escrow services are provided in partnership with licensed payment processors.
6. Intellectual Property
Content created by creators for campaigns remains the intellectual property of the creator unless explicitly transferred via a written agreement between the parties. CollabConnect does not claim ownership over user-generated content.
The CollabConnect name, logo, and platform design are the exclusive property of CollabConnect and may not be used without written permission.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Circumventing the Platform to transact directly and avoid platform fees
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
- Uploading malware, spam, or harmful content
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or copying the Platform
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
CollabConnect provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or reliability of any content or user on the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CollabConnect is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. CollabConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease and any pending transactions will be handled in accordance with our payment policies.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the appropriate courts, as required by law.
